Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Bassersdorf Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Bassersdorf cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Bassersdorf cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hello! I’m Matilde, a qualified Veterinary Nurse currently working in veterinary medicine, where I care for animals every day. My work has given me extensive knowledge of animal health, behaviour, and welfare, as well as experience handling pets with different medical and behavioural needs.
Animals have always been my greatest passion. I love spending time with them and have experience caring for both domestic and exotic species, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents, birds, reptiles, insects, and horses. I am confident caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, whether they are energetic, shy, elderly, or require special attention.
I offer dog walking, home visits and pet sitting. During my visits, I make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, fresh food and water, and lots of affection. My priority is to keep your pet happy, comfortable, and maintain their usual routine while you’re away.
I am a reliable, patient, and responsible person, and I will always care for your pets as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and providing your pet with safe, loving, and professional care while you’re away!

Hunde begleiten mich schon seit meiner Kindheit.

Dogs have been part of my life since childhood. Over the years, I’ve cared for many different breeds – from small dogs like dachshunds to large breeds such as Saint Bernards.
I have solid experience with dogs of all temperaments and I understand their behavior well. I know how to approach unfamiliar dogs in a calm and respectful way.
I also worked as a truffle hunter with trained dogs. This gave me experience not only in handling but also in training dogs to search and follow commands.
With patience, empathy, and a genuine love for animals, I will take care of your dog as if it were my own.
