Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Meyrin Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Meyrin cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Meyrin cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi, I'm Igor.
I've had dogs all my life and grew up in an animal-loving family, so being around animals has always been second nature to me. I also worked in a dog kennel, where I looked after dogs of many different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, giving me valuable hands-on experience and confidence caring for all kinds of dogs.
I have my own 12-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, Rose, and I regularly care for dogs for family and friends, whether it's for walks, daycare, boarding, or house sitting. I'm also comfortable caring for puppies, senior dogs, and cats, and I'm happy to follow any routines or special instructions to make sure your pet feels at home.
I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and care while you're away, treating them with the same patience and kindness that I give my own dog. My aim is simple: to keep your pet happy, comfortable, and well looked after until you're home again.

Hello,
Salutations

My name is Charlotte, nice to e-meet you!I have an unconditional love for cats and was lucky to have my own cat, Mangoo, for 20 years. Mangoo was the love of my life. This long companionship gave me a deep understanding of their needs and personalities. I truly enjoy spending quality time with them — gentle scratches behind the ears, cuddles, and playtime are always part of my care. Dog WalksI also love dogs and would be happy to take them out for walks. I am sporty and genuinely enjoy being outdoors, whether in parks or around the lake. I make sure each walk provides exercise, fresh air, mental stimulation, and positive attention. I prefer to walk one dog at a time so they receive my full attention and feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
Home VisitsI can visit your pet at home to ensure they feel secure in their familiar environment. During each visit, I provide care, playtime, affection, and any specific attention they may need. I am happy to send regular updates and photos so you can check in on your friend with complete peace of mind.I can also adapt to specific routines or particular care instructions if your dog/cat has special needs.
Cat HostingYour cat is more than welcome to stay at my place. I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed while you are away, always respecting their habits, feeding schedule, and any special care requirements.
I am attentive, responsible, and treat every pet as if they were my own.

I’ve been around dogs all my life and have been a dog owner for more than 15 years. I currently have a Jack Russell, who is staying with my family in my home country, so I genuinely miss having dogs around and really enjoy spending time with them here in Geneva.
I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds and personalities, from small energetic dogs to larger breeds. I also have previous experience with dog sitting and dog walking, and I’m used to adapting to each dog’s routine, energy level and character.
I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to offer daytime walks, regular or occasional check-in visits, and pet sitting when needed. For walks, I’m happy to do both relaxed neighbourhood walks and longer, more active walks depending on your dog’s needs.
I’m calm, responsible and confident in unexpected situations, and I always pay close attention to the dog’s behaviour and comfort.
I mainly communicate in English, but I understand French quite well and speak a little, so dogs used to French commands are absolutely fine with me.
Most importantly, I treat every animal with the same care and attention I would give my own.
