Cats have always been part of our home. In recent years, I had the joy of caring for an elderly cat, and I also adopted two abandoned kittens who had only just opened their eyes. I raised them by hand and cared for them through those very early, delicate weeks. That experience gave me an especially deep understanding of how much patience, attention and tenderness a cat may need.

For the past four years, I have been living in Switzerland. I first started looking after pets for friends, and later joined pet-sitting platforms. Since then, I have completed many pet-sitting stays and cat visits in the cantons of Vaud and Geneva.

I am happy to say that some owners have come back to me repeatedly because they appreciate my individual approach to each animal, cleanliness, reliability and honesty. I believe that caring for someone’s pet is a responsibility and a relationship of trust, not simply a service.

I offer home visits for cats, with each visit lasting approximately 30+min.
I will feed your cat, provide fresh water, clean the litter box, brush them if they enjoy it, and spend time giving them attention, playing or simply keeping them company. Medication can also be given when arranged in advance. I always pay attention to a cat’s behaviour and will let you know if I notice anything unusual.

I understand that every cat has its own personality. Some are affectionate and social, while others are shy, independent or need more time to feel comfortable with a new person. I never force interaction and always respect their individual character and boundaries.

My service is dedicated to cats in their own homes. I do not offer dog walking or dog sitting. I am happy to care for one cat or several cats from the same household during the same visit.

During each visit, I follow the cat’s usual routine and the owner’s instructions. I make sure the cat has fresh water and food, clean the litter box, spend time with the cat according to its personality, and check that everything is safe and normal. If medication is required, I can administer it according to the owner’s clear instructions.

I am not employed, so my schedule is flexible. Visits are 30+ minutes by arrangement, and I can spend as much time with the cat as the owner would like or as the cat needs.

For overnight stays, I remain in the owner’s home overnight so the cat can keep its familiar environment and routine. I stay for the agreed period, take care of all the cat’s needs, and make sure the home is secure before going to sleep and whenever I leave the house.

I treat every home with care and respect. I make sure doors and windows are properly closed, follow the owner’s instructions, and remain attentive to the security of both the home and the pet throughout my stay. I also remain in regular contact with the owner and am always available to communicate and provide updates about their pet.

When you are away, I want you to feel confident that your cat is not only fed and well cared for, but also treated with the same patience, attention and respect that you give her yourself.
