Originally from New Zealand, I now live in Sion, Switzerland. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and other animals, and caring for them has always been a part of my life. I love their company, their little quirks and the fact that every animal has their own unique personality. I share my life with Mr Ginge, my much-loved rescue cat. Having grown up around animals, I’ve always understood the importance of respecting their individual personalities, boundaries, routines and needs. Caring for him has only deepened that appreciation, and I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to look after your pet while you’re away. I offer dog walking, home visits and pet sitting in your own home in Sion and the surrounding areas. I tailor my care to each animal’s individual needs, routine and personality. Walks can be adapted to suit your dog, whether they prefer a leisurely stroll or a more active outing. During home visits, I can take care of feeding, playtime, cuddles, companionship and litter tray cleaning for cats. For dogs, visits can also include playtime, attention and toilet breaks outside. The length of walks and home visits can be discussed in advance and tailored to your pet’s needs. I’m patient, attentive and conscientious, and I take the time to get to know each animal on their own terms, whether they’re playful, independent, shy or particularly affectionate. When visiting your home, I’ll follow your instructions carefully to help keep your pet safe, including securing doors and gates and respecting your pet’s usual routine. I understand that every animal has different needs when it comes to companionship, so I’m happy to discuss how long your pet is comfortable being left alone and find an arrangement that works best for them. I know how reassuring it is to hear that your pet is doing well while you’re away. I’m happy to send updates and photos during visits, so you can enjoy your time away with greater peace of mind.
