Hello! My name is Merve. I am 30 years old. Animals have always been a very important part of my life. I truly believe that pets are not just animals, but family members who deserve love, patience, and individual care. I am an Engineer by profession, which has shaped me into a responsible, attentive, and well-organized person. At the moment, I am not working, which means I can fully dedicate my time and energy to the animals I care for.

I have full availability throughout the day and can spend quality time with pets — whether it is for walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company. I live in a pet-friendly neighborhood with green areas and nice walking routes, creating a calm and enjoyable environment for pets to feel safe and relaxed.

My goal is always to make pets feel at home, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.

My motivation for pet sitting comes from my genuine love for animals and the strong emotional bond I naturally build with them. I truly believe that pets are family members and deserve care, patience, and affection.

I have hands-on experience caring for 5 cats, 1 dog, 3 fish, and 2 birds. Through these experiences, I have learned how different animals have different personalities, routines, and emotional needs. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning, playtime, companionship, and maintaining their daily routines while their owners were away. 

I am calm, patient, and very attentive, especially when it comes to understanding animals’ behavior and comfort levels. I carefully follow all instructions given by pet owners, whether it is related to feeding schedules, special care needs, or creating a calm and familiar environment.

For me, pet sitting is not just about looking after animals — it is about trust, emotional connection, and making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and part of a caring family atmosphere.

Hallo, ich bin Catherine, 48-ig, Hausfrau-und Mutter, nicht berufstätig, Hundeliebhaberin und geniesse es, Zeit in der Natur zu verbringen. Ich mag alle Arten von Tieren und bin aktiv im Tierschutz tätig. Ich tanze, fotografiere und reise gerne.
Mein Umfeld
Ich wohne zusammen mit meinem Mann und unseren beiden Söhnen (12 und 10) in einer Wohnung in Zürich-Affoltern, unmittelbar beim angrenzenden Naturschutzgebiet Katzensee.
Ihr Hund wird bei mir viel Bewegung und Abwechslung erleben, ganz nach seinen Bedürfnissen. Auch werde ich Ihren Liebling nie alleine lassen und ihm viel Aufmerksamkeit sowie die nötigen Streicheleinheiten und allenfalls erforderliche Pflege schenken.
Meine Betreuung
Ich biete Spaziergänge, Tagesbetreuung, sowie kurzfristige Betreuung an. Falls ich das Tier gut genug kenne und es sich wohl fühlt bei uns, ist auch eine Ferienbetreuung möglich.
Ich betreue fast alle Arten von Hunden, ob gross oder klein, ab 1 Jahr alt. Wichtig ist, dass sie gut erzogen sind und die Hundeschule besucht haben. Ich gehe gerne auf das Tier ein, bin freundlich und geduldig und lerne gerne dazu.
Betreue bislang regelmässig die beiden Hunde meiner Freundin (Schäferhündin / Sheltie-Mischling) und habe somit schon Einiges an Erfahrung und schönen Momenten sammeln dürfen.
Die Zeit mit Hunden zu verbringen, ist für mich eine Herzensangelegenheit und ich sorge dafür, dass sich ihr Hund rundum wohl und sicher fühlen wird.

Hi! I'm Monica, 34 years old, based in Schöfflisdorf, Switzerland. I’ve grown up with animals – especially dogs – and my first pet sitting experience started at 14 with a very lovable (and very stubborn) beagle. That’s when I discovered my passion for animal care. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and small animals – both locally (Zurich, Meilen, Dielsdorf, Bülach) and internationally, including house and pet sitting in France.Alongside my part-time job in accounting and my studies, I offer pet sitting as a heart-driven side job.
