My name is Maria, I love sports and exercise, I enjoy listening to music, and spending time outside.

My love for animals started when I was a kid, my family had a lot of dogs and I grew up with them. Since then, every time I see an animal on the street I smile and say Hi to them even though some people think I'm crazy 😆. I have two Alaskan malamutes back home, I missed them so much. Sadly, they are too big so they are not able to travel anymore. Right now, I do not have any pets living with me.

I love animals and they seem to know that right away. They seem to feel relaxed and comfortable every time I approach them or they are in my care, which actually makes me feel good and makes me look forward to take of your pet. I know how to approach animals in a way that they do not feel scared or threaten. The key is to make them feel appreciated, to acknowledge how important they are for us humans. I can help to maintain the routine they are used to, so they do not feel weird or uncomfortable being with someone other than their owners.

During high school, I did my social service at an animal foundation that helps abandoned animals find a good home with amazing people. I love animals with my whole heart, I enjoy playing with them, feed them, pet them, the clean and the dirty 😂 . I do not have any preferences between animals I feel like they are all the same, all of them have feelings that they cannot express through words so that's why you have to be there for them the whole time as they will be there for you.

I do not have any titles or studies regarding pets but I have enough experience taking care of them and I do not know why but I have an incredible connection with all animals.

About the services,

On the walks:

Mostly up to the preference of the owner and the type of animal, but if possible, I would like to take your animal by the lake, around green areas or any other park close to your house.

I would prefer to walk 1 dog at a time to give him/her the attention they need.

If your animal has a lot of energy and likes to run I will love to go for a run with them so he/she will be tired the moment he/she gets home.

About duration, every walk will be between 40 minutes and 1 hour depending on how much energy your animal has and how much he/she wants to walk.

Home visits:

Every visit will be about 1 hour and 1 hour 15 minutes long. Would love to video call or send pictures, since I’m sure the pets would love to hear and see their owners.

Because I am a master student and I am taking my clases on campus now there are some time slots that can be a bit difficult for me to be with your pet but after my classes and if I do not have any other responsibilities I will be more than happy to go spend a lovely time with your pet.

Hosting your pets at home:

All animals are more than welcome to stay at my place. I will be more than happy to have your pet at my place, I live with my brother and he also loves animals like me so I promise you that he/she will have fun and I will do my best to make he/she feel as comfortable and happy as possible.

If it is okay with the owners I also give them the option to stay at their place or either go and visit the pets twice or once a day, of course this if you feel comfortable with the option.
