Hi, my name is Alice and I live in Oerlikon.
I'm an Italian veterinarian that can guarantee the highest standard of care to your beloved pet. I have worked in clinical practice before moving to Zurich, but now that I am no longer a clinician, I dearly miss contacts with animals and look forward to helping families with pets with any kind of needs. I have taken a break from Pawshake for a few months while I prepared to move from Belgium, but am now excited to meet some Swiss dogs & cats 🥰
My efforts go beyond basic care, I want to make sure I always maintain a comfortable environment for your pet, whether it's in your own home or walking outside. I am happy to help administering medications, ensure that special dietary requirements are respected, offer advice for training or simply offer company to meet the individual needs of your furry pets.
I have previous experience as a dog and cat owner, as a sitter as well, and a lot more coming from my professional and academic background, rest assured that your furry companion is in capable hands! Your peace of mind when overseeing the welfare of your pets is my priority and can ensure it as a qualified veterinarian and fellow pet owner.

Diving into more specifics:
- HOUSE VISITS: I stay over for 30 minutes to keep your pet company, but let me know it if you want me to stay longer, during this time feeding, providing water, littler box maintenance if cat sitting, company and exercise are my primary goals. I make sure to dedicate some time to playing with your pet to help maintain their activity-level goal even while you're way, this way they remain fit and healthy. I look forward to learning about their favorite toys or way to play!

- DOG WALK: Each dog walk usually lasts around 30 min (also open to discussion!) and I welcome you sharing knowledge on your pet's favorite itineraries, if there is a favorite park or spot I should know of or any kind of preference. If there is a dog mate they like to meet I'll do my best to adapt to the buddy schedule so they maintain their socializing time. I will make sure to stick to the routines they're used to!

- I can administer medication orally or injectables to your pet;

- I can help identifying some arising/prexisting behavioral issues in your pet, offer guidance and tips on how to resolve these issues over time in a stress free way that will also strengthen your bond together;

- Most days my agenda is flexible, but two days a week (usually Tuesday and Thursday) I go to the office and I'm only available in the evenings;

- Besides Italian, I'm fluent in English and Spanish, can speak decent French and will soon start learning German;
